08.07.14 30 Cecil Street es un homenaje a un edificio abandonado. Una performance de danza-teatro que usa fragmentos de voces y sonidos. Dan Canham evoca la memoria de 150 años de existencia del edificio. Los 25 minutos de la performance me conmovieron. Dan Canham se mueve bellamente, y conmueve (el juego de palabras no es intencionado). In his 30 Cecil Street, Dan Canham pays homage to an abandoned building using fragments of voices and sounds. In this physical theatre performance, Canham evokes memories of long-gone moments in the life of this building, which has been used as a theatre, an opera house, a cinema, a bingo hall and a disco among other things in the 150 years of its existence. I was moved by the 25 minute emotive performance. Dan Canham moves beautifully too (the word-play isn't intentional) |
